[ Pier Park – The Little Mermaid ]
Denmark is known as the “fairy tale kingdom.” The Little Mermaid statue in Pier Park is inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s beloved fairy tale and has become one of Copenhagen’s most famous landmarks.
[ Amalienborg Palace ]
The Royal Palace of Denmark, Amalienborg Palace, lies on the shore of the Øresund Strait in eastern Copenhagen. It serves as the main residence of the Danish royal family and consists of four identical palaces surrounding a central courtyard, built between 1754 and 1760.
After breakfast, we will depart from the hotel to visit Stockholm. The Stockholm City Hall (optional project), located on the shore of Lake Mälaren, looks like a cruise ship sailing in the sea from a distance. The Old Town of Stockholm is another sight not to be missed — the narrow cobblestone paths and aroma of coffee in the air make you feel as if time has slowed down while walking through its streets. In the evening, we will head to the pier and board the cruise to Helsinki, where we will stay overnight on the ship.
⚠️ The tour guide may adjust the order of Stockholm’s visits on the 2nd and 4th days depending on actual conditions.
[ Vasa Shipwreck Museum ]
The 17th-century battleship Vasa, salvaged from the seabed, is displayed in this impressive museum. Though her sailing history was brief, the Swedes regard her as a national treasure for showcasing the craftsmanship and artistry of 17th-century shipbuilding — particularly the intricate wooden carvings that remain remarkably well-preserved.
After breakfast on the cruise ship, we arrive at the Helsinki pier at about 09:55 AM and visit Cathedral Square. Afterwards, take a short break in Sibelius Park and feel the tranquility and depth of the Underground Rock Church (optional project). Experience the local Finnish lifestyle at the lively Marina Market. In the evening, return to the pier and board the cruise ship back to Stockholm for another overnight stay on board.
⚠️ Single room is selected throughout the trip, but cabin accommodation is not included. The cabin is a four-person cabin by default, and there may be guests of the opposite sex sharing. If you wish to upgrade your cabin, an additional fee will be required (see optional items). If the number of upgraded passengers is insufficient, you will need to pay the difference.
[ Underground Rock Church ]
Carved entirely from solid rock, this unique church blends nature with architecture. Its roof, supported by 100 radial beams and glass panels, allows natural light to flood the interior—so you never feel underground. The circular shape provides exceptional acoustics, making it ideal for chamber music and a cappella performances.
[ Cathedral Square ]
The most famous landmark of Helsinki, this Lutheran cathedral was built in 1852 and stands majestically on Senate Square. Its pure white façade and green domes represent the essence of Finnish neoclassical architecture. In front of the church stands a bronze statue of Tsar Alexander II, built in 1894 to honor his grant of autonomy to Finland.
[ Marina Market ]
A vibrant open-air marketplace filled with local products—reindeer hides, antler crafts, and colorful fruits and flowers. The aroma of Nordic cuisine fills the air, offering food lovers a true taste of Finland’s capital.
[ Sibelius Park ]
Located northwest of central Helsinki, this peaceful green park honors Finland’s national composer Jean Sibelius. The centerpiece is an abstract sculpture of 600 steel pipes resembling organ pipes, accompanied by a bust of the composer—both masterpieces by sculptor Eila Hiltunen (1922–2003).
After breakfast, we will arrive at the Stockholm pier at about 09:30 AM. Returning to Stockholm again, if you are still not satisfied, you may visit the Vasa Shipwreck Museum (optional project) to experience the rise and fall of this century-old vessel. You may also visit the Stockholm Royal Palace and witness the Royal Guard Changing Ceremony at noon. Alternatively, enjoy a scenic Stockholm Cruise (optional project) to admire the city’s beauty from the water. After leaving Stockholm, we will stay overnight in Karlstad or nearby.
⚠️ The tour guide may adjust the order of Stockholm’s visits on the 2nd and 4th days depending on actual conditions.
[ Stockholm City Hall ]
Built in 1911 on the shores of Lake Mälaren, Stockholm City Hall is one of Sweden’s most iconic landmarks and serves as the city’s municipal council. Its distinctive architecture and waterfront location make it a symbol of the Swedish capital.
[ Stockholm Royal Palace ]
The Stockholm Royal Palace is the largest palace still in active use in the world. Inside, visitors can admire gold and silver artifacts, intricate furnishings, and detailed murals and reliefs. The Changing of the Guard Ceremony in front of the palace has become a must-see cultural event for visitors.
[ Stockholm Old Town ]
The Old Town (Gamla Stan) dates back to the 13th century and features narrow medieval streets, cobblestone alleys, and buildings influenced by North Germanic architecture. As Sweden has enjoyed over 200 years of peace, the area remains remarkably well preserved, offering a glimpse into the city’s historic charm.
After breakfast, we will cross the border and arrive in Oslo, the capital of Norway. Visit the Vigeland Sculpture Park, named after the renowned Norwegian sculptor Gustav Vigeland, and admire the magnificent Oslo City Hall with its intricate relief murals. From the Akershus Fortress standing by the sea, enjoy a panoramic view of Oslo and its harbor. After completing our Oslo city tour, we will continue on to Gothenburg or nearby for overnight stay.
[ Oslo City Hall ]
Oslo City Hall is the venue for the annual Nobel Peace Prize ceremony. While its exterior appears austere, the interior walls are adorned with magnificent murals depicting Norwegian history and mythology, making it one of Oslo’s most important cultural landmarks.
[ Vigeland Sculpture Park ]
Vigeland Sculpture Park was designed by sculptor Gustav Vigeland and features 192 sculptures comprising over 650 figures. The theme centers on the “Cycle of Life,” representing human existence from birth to death — inspiring visitors to reflect on life’s journey, hence its nickname: “The Park of Life’s Journey.”
[ Akershus Castle ]
Akershus Castle stands majestically on Cape Aker overlooking Oslo’s harbor. Built in 1300 by King Haakon V to defend against foreign invasions, it remains one of the most representative medieval fortresses in Norway. Today, the castle is used for official state functions and offers visitors a glimpse into Oslo’s past and sweeping views of the city.
After breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for Copenhagen.
The trip concludes as we reach Helsingør Pier around 11:15 AM and arrive in Copenhagen at approximately 12:00 PM.
Drop-off location: IKEA (Nybrovej 2, 2820 Gentofte)
