Your journey begins in Barcelona, a city overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, renowned for Gaudí and other Art Nouveau architecture. Visit the iconic Sagrada Família (optional), a breathtaking basilica and the lifelong masterpiece of the visionary architect Antoni Gaudí. See Casa Milà (exterior), Gaudí’s final residential project and one of the city’s most distinctive buildings. Continue to Valencia, where classic charm meets modern innovation. [ Sagrada Família ]
A masterpiece of Antoni Gaudí, construction of the Sagrada Família began in 1884 and continues today. Its towering spires and detailed facades symbolize the union of faith and creativity, representing Barcelona’s spiritual heart.

Located in Valencia’s old town, Plaza de la Virgen is surrounded by charming cafés and historic buildings. Its central fountain, Fuente del Turia, symbolizes the eight canals that once nourished the Turia River plain.

After breakfast, depart for Granada, a city with an unmistakably Moorish flavour, located in eastern Andalusia. Visit the magnificent Alhambra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Spain’s most remarkable architectural treasures. The Alhambra was once the political and aristocratic heart of the Moslem West. The complex includes elegant courtyards, tranquil fountains, and beautifully adorned Nasrid palaces that once served as royal residences. Overnight stay in Granada or nearby.

Today we travel to Málaga, known as the “Capital of the Costa del Sol.” Visit the impressive Alcazaba (optional), one of the largest Arab fortresses in Andalusia, offering panoramic views of the city and sea. Continue to Seville, the jewel of southern Spain, where history and architecture intertwine to tell the story of the Spanish Empire. Today we travel to Lisbon — the capital of Portugal — where old traditions blend with innovation, culture, and maritime heritage. We’ll visit the Jerónimos Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Portugal’s most magnificent landmarks. Next, explore the Belém Tower, a symbol of Portugal’s Age of Discoveries, and the striking Padrão dos Descobrimentos (Monument to the Discoveries), celebrating the explorers who shaped world history. End the day with a view of the iconic 25th of April Bridge, an engineering marvel linking Lisbon across the Tagus River. Overnight stay in Lisbon or nearby.

The April 25th Bridge spans the Tagus River, connecting Lisbon to Almada. Completed in 1966 as “Ponte Salazar,” it was renamed following the 1974 Carnation Revolution. With a total length of 2,277 meters, its design resembles San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge.

Built during Portugal’s Golden Age of exploration, the Jerónimos Monastery is a masterpiece of Manueline architecture, blending Gothic and Renaissance elements. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983, it symbolizes Portugal’s maritime power and devotion.

Constructed to commemorate the 500th anniversary of Prince Henry the Navigator’s death, this monument honors Portugal’s great explorers. The ship-shaped sculpture features Henry at the prow, followed by figures such as Vasco da Gama and Magellan.

Cabo da Roca marks the westernmost tip of mainland Europe, standing 140 meters above the Atlantic. A lighthouse and stone cross commemorate this breathtaking location, inscribed with Camões’ words: “Onde a terra acaba e o mar começa” — “Where the land ends and the sea begins.” Widely regarded as one of the world’s most stunning coastal viewpoints.
